TERMS & CONDITIONS: Maidenhead Therapy
1. Bookings, Fees, and Payments

-
Treatment Duration: Stated session time.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your treatment will end at the originally scheduled time to ensure subsequent clients are not delayed. The full fee for the booked session remains payable.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
-
Notice Period: We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled start time.
-
Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend an appointment, will incur a charge equal to 100% of the treatment fee.
-
Provider Cancellations: In the rare event that we must cancel your appointment due to therapist illness or unforeseen emergencies, we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule immediately at no extra cost.
3. Client Health Disclosures & Medical Disclaimer
-
Health Consultation: All new clients must complete a Health Intake Form prior to their first treatment. You must provide accurate, honest, and complete information regarding your medical history, injuries, and medications.
-
Medical Advice: Our therapists are qualified professionals but are not trained General Practitioners (GPs). They cannot diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or perform skeletal adjustments. Soft Tissue Therapy is a complementary treatment and not a substitute for professional medical care.
-
Contraindications: Certain medical conditions may prevent treatment or require written consent. If you suffer from an acute infectious disease, severe cardiovascular issues, active deep vein thrombosis (DVT), or are undergoing cancer treatment, you must disclose this before treatment.
-
Pregnancy: Please notify us at the time of booking if you are, or suspect you might be, pregnant.
4. Code of Professional Conduct & Consent
-
Informed Consent: The therapist will discuss the treatment plan with you before starting. You maintain ongoing consent and have the right to request changes to pressure or stop the treatment immediately at any point during the session.
-
Draping and Hygiene: For professional hygiene and boundary safety, clients must meet personal hygiene standards.
-
Zero Tolerance Policy: We maintain strict professional boundaries. Any aggressive, suggestive, or sexually inappropriate language or behaviour will result in the immediate termination of the treatment. The client will be asked to leave, the full fee will be forfeited, and the matter may be reported to the police.
-
Under 18s: Clients under the age of 18 are not accepted.
5. UK GDPR, Privacy, and Liability
-
Data Protection: Your personal data and clinical notes are processed securely in strict accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (UK GDPR). Your information is strictly confidential and will never be shared with third parties without your consent.
